This episode I chat with you about my first 50K Ultra Marathon. That means 50 kilometres or for those of us that don’t know what that means… it means 32 miles of running. The event was The North Face Endurance Challenge. It was a gruelling run with tons of steep inclines, scary descents, stream crossings, unstable rocky terrain, mud, black flies, and a bunch of crazy people that signed up and paid to do the event!
I used specific training and eating help me complete this event as I’m not a born runner. I used things like exogenous ketones, algae, caffeine, collagen, fat, and electrolytes to fuel this run and previous training runs.
